When Ben collected the deck of tarot cards the wind carried with it, at the top of the stack is Le Maison de Dieu which translated means The House of God. The interpretation of the card is danger, combat, war, destruction, and so on. (edit) The tarot card Ben catches when the wind carries them away is the Ace of Swords (As des Epees). When Roosevelt became president in 1933 he tried to better the economics of the USA. He created program after program after program, it got the nickname "alphabet soup" after all the abbreviations given to the programs. (edit) WPA stands for Works Progress Administration. It existed between 1935 and 1943. Its goal was to try to decrease unemployment and it provided work for 8 million Americans. (edit) NRA stands for the National Recovery Administration. Its slogan was "We Do Our Part". Its purpose was to stop the downwards spiral of lower wages and prices. (edit)
