It's not a pretty picture when Caroline persuades reluctant con-artist Richard to fake his own death in order to catch the eye of a wealthy art dealer who's scouring the city in search of the works of dead painters - and who winds up delivering the eulogy at Richard's fake funeral.

Richard: Thanks, I mean I'm gonna miss you ... what the hell we're talking about? I'm not dead! (edit) Annie: (to Caroline about Richard) Look, he's got to have some make-up on his face. He's got to look like he just died - without make-up he looks like he died ten years ago. (edit) Caroline: I don't know what other people do, but I can assure you that Richard, my very talented Richard, is indeed dead.
Hilton Traynor: Oh yeah?
Caroline: Yeah!
Hilton Traynor: So when's the funeral?
Caroline: Tomorrow at 2:00!
Hilton Traynor: I'll be there!
Caroline: So will Richard!
Hilton Traynor: Great! (edit) Caroline: Mr. Traynor? I'm Caroline Duffy, it's such a pleasure to meet you.
Hilton Traynor: I know! (edit)
