I had forgotten Adult Swim skipped this episode and thought it was misplaced. The episode starts off with someone giving a lot of people a motive to kill him. One for black mail and another for taking his spot. I always try to figure it out but Conan always seems to pick something up that I don't notice till he says something about it. I thought the hint being a cap threw me off. It should've been shine or something else. Earring would be too obvious. This episode seemed out of place compared to the other ones just seeing how everyone acted and the dubbing. Overall I think the episode was average to mediocore until Conan solved it pointing out attention to detail.
