Show Summary

The life and times of a cat and a dog with a unique twist: they're connected, literally. They share one body with a Dog's head at one end and Cat's head on the other. Adding to their dilemma is Cat's annoyance with Dog, mainly caused by Dog's stupidity and Cat's up-tight personality. Theme Song Lyrics:...  more

If I had a nickle for everytime someone asked me if I liked this show... hide show

I'd only have a dollar, or something. But that's only because it's hard to bring up the topic of a dog being fused with a cat in a normal conversation.

However, I used to love this show! Not too long ago, I watched two episodes on youtube. As if getting bricked, in a pleasant way, a whole bunch of fond memories started coming back. Even though it's embarrasing to say...I recall having a slight crush on Cat. Heh. Which is funny, because I know who the voice actor is these day. Love ol' Jim. And Tom. It's cool to see that I've always liked characters they voiced, even from a young age. I loved the style of animation and humor the show used. It was...different. It had an odd sense of comdey, and even was a little dark at times. And their Halloween special! That had some freaky, yet cool, visuals. AQnd I still can sing the theme song. Darn thing can come up at very random moments. It's ruined my teenaged life! (But in a completely awesome way.)

    Overall...I miss watching it.

It's okay...just not my true favorite. hide show

Well, I must say, the idea of CatDog is simply brilliant. A cat and a dog combined together. Now anyone who disagrees with my statement of that idea having a lot of potential doesn't have any idea what they are saying.

Aside from the fact that the whole concept of the show is brilliant, the episodes of CatDog are often pretty good. Of course, it has its share of bad episodes, but overall, they are all pretty enjoyable, especially because this show has that retro feeling I always love.

Now there is something about the show that is actually quite interesting, and I must point it out. While the show's humor has it's own style, some of the jokes are kind of lame. But you can pretty much find that in any show, am I right? So, that's nothing you wouldn't see in most other shows, thus it's not that big of a deal.

As people have stated before, this show isn't really the kind of show that you are supposed to laugh at. It's just the kind of show that's meant for entertainment. Normally I oppose TV shows or movies without humor, but this is actually a pretty decent show. Final words:

This is a pretty decent show. While it is a little weird in some areas, practically everyone can enjoy it.

    Final show grade: B

a cat & dog joined together... hide show

catdog was one of my many fav old school nicktoons. i hav the 2 VHS's that were released. i wish nick would make catdog DVDs. that would be wonderful! It's interesting how Peter Hannan(sp?) came up w/ the idea of combining a cat & dog. I think it's pure genius!=D it's definately an underrated nick show. not enough people gave it a chance. i hope one day that nick will decide to show re-runs of this show in the future but since nick's too caught up in showing that *beep!* sponge, it probably wont happen. catdog's soo much better than spongebob:p

    Awesome show overall. hide show

CatDog is an amazing show, Just the storyline is attracting, A half cat, half dog, two of lifes mortal enemies, doing everyday tasks as if they were there own person. I have watched this show since I was a kid, and man I love every episode, they never missed anything, making peopl laugh, and sit on the edge of their seets. I think this series should continue, even though it has ended, I still try to find ways to watch it. So.. CatDog, was just one of those shows in the 90's that didnt break through. CatDog for the win!

This was a classic cartoon Nick had. Now at least its on Nicktoon's Network. hide show

Man I miss seeing this cartoon, its been years since i last saw it. This was a funny great classic cartoon that had some wicked good characters, including CatDog since they are a cat and a dog fused together at birth to make them into one animal! I also remember seeing a great TV movie showing them finding their parents! This was another great oldie cartoon Nick had which they unfortunately don't have anymore, so it would be nice if this show can be brought back sometime in the future with some new episodes. CatDog also has a great Chrsitmas special, so you can see that this show had some very caring and on track specials that got into the holiday spirit witht he christmas Special, and another special with a cool twist an story about them finding their paents. SO this shows that this cartoon had also some great quality and is definitely at least better than a lot of garbage you see on TV these days. If TV ever gets back on track in the future these are one of the great quality cartoon shows that needs to be brought back. CatDog rules! It also has me hyped up once in a while like what Cat becomes in that Monster Truck episode, just watching have great power like that is pure gold! Not to mention priceless defeating all of his opposition! This show is another cool classic that i yearn to see again.
