Lindsay to appear in six episodes, including current season finale; Heroes, 90120 also expand.

No-panties paparazzi-flashing is so 2007 for Hollywood's hard-partying starlets. The new hotness? Guest-starring on television shows.

Paris Hilton visited My Name is Earl and Britney Spears dropped by How I Met Your Mother, and the final third of the Holy Trinity of fleshy celebutantes is following in their footsteps.

Lindsay Lohan! Is she wearing pants? We'll never know.

Lindsay Lohan! Is she wearing pants? We'll never know.

Confirming rumors that sprang up last fall, Lindsay Lohan has been booked to appear on ABC's Ugly Betty, says Variety. But unlike Hilton and Spears, Lohan will be sticking around a little longer. LiLo will make her debut in Ugly Betty's finale on May 22 and appear in five episodes of the comedy next season as a recurring character.

Lohan will play an old friend of Betty's from high school that's been down on her luck recently. Previous rumors had her cast as a former beauty queen who works at a fast-food restaurant with Betty's dad.

In other casting news, veteran film actress Catherine O'Hara is in talks to join the ABC pilot Good Behavior, says The Hollywood Reporter. O'Hara would play the mother in a criminal family that decides to go straight in the adaptation of the New Zealand comedy Outrageous Fortune.

Groundhog Day's Andie McDowell and October Road's Warren Christie have been cast in ABC's drama pilot Prince of Motor City. Christie plays a family son who moves back to Detroit to run the clan's auto business; McDowell will play his mother.

Actress Brea Grant, last seen making hipster goo-goo eyes at Landry Clark in Friday Night Lights as Jean, has moved onto another NBC show, says TVGuide.com. Grant will play a new superstudette on Heroes as a girl who--reading between the lines of the casting description--possesses super speed.

Finally, the new 90210 continued its rapid-fire casting bonanza by adding two more: The Wire's Tristan Wilds and The Winner's Michael Steger. Wilds will play the adopted son of the Mills family and Steger will play Navid, "a consummate student politician," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

So she'll be the one with the super speed! I saw her with a shorter hair in "Behind the scenes - Season 3". I can't wait for Heroes!

Why? They couldn't find a more deserving actress?

I can go either way with this depending on how they write the part.

at least she has a better acting ability than spears.

Lindsay isn't that bad at acting. Besides Britney Spears did alright and pulled in the best ratings ever for HIMYM. I personally don't watch Ugly Betty but I'm sure this will give the show a boost. Give the girl a chance.

LiLo on Heroes! HA! Her name will be "Re-hab girl". Her special power: Bad acting!

The girl CAN act, she proved that lots of times (didn't we all fall for her back in the days of The Parent Trap?) I have faith that she in combination of a season finale of UB will be great. Hopefully, the season finale will be as good as last years!

So basically, if you're a loser twenty something that's been in rehab/jail you get to be on a tv show ~ nice.

Want to boost your public image? Guest star in a tv show. Everybody is doing it. Jeez, its so transparent why they are doint it. It just might ruin the credibility of the shows.
