Lillian(Ellen Travolta)she has put a down payment on a restaurant and plans to turn it into a diner from the 1950's calling it the "Yesterday Cafe". Charles(Scott Baio)has to teach a couple of students about "American History", but if they fail they get thrown off the football team, so Charles approaches Professor Krick(Mark L. Taylor)about going easy on them, he refuses and tells Charles if they don't pass, he can start looking for a new career, so he decides to give them any test he wants, Victor(Ed Beechner) and Eugene(Peter Parros)think it's boring at first until Walter(James Callahan) and Lillian tells them everything that went on during the 50's and they go to the diner to look up information and they eventually pass the test with flying colors.

Charles: That's right, very good, Buddy and when was it done?
Buddy: North Korea
Charles: Not Who? When?
Buddy: I hate this class. (edit) Buddy: Look at the menus, they're made from real 1950's newspapers and look inside you can get, Sha-Boom Burgers, Tutti Frutti Well all Rutti ice cream and Blue Suede Shoe string potatoes.
Lillian: The soup of the day is "Don't Be Grool". (edit) Charles: These guys are not dumb, they just need to be motivated.
Buddy: Charles, they're football players they're only motivated by the sight of blood and the smell of raw meat. (edit) Professor Krick: I want you to follow my instructions, or I will make your life a living hell. Would you like that?
Charles: No, Sir it's tough enough living in Jersey. (edit)
