In June 2008, Charlie's ex-wife Denise Richards, revealed to a magazine that their two daughters were both in therapy to help deal with their parents split. (edit) Charlie has been nominated for two SAG awards. In 2000 he was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Theatrical Motion Picture for Being John Malkovich. In 2005 he was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for Two and a Half Men. (edit) When Charlie married Brooke Mueller, they exchanged personally written vows. Charlie vowed to, among other things, "organize less" and "stop breaking a hug too soon." (edit) Charlie loves barbeque sauce, and has even thought about releasing his own brand someday. (edit) In August 2007, Charlie was dissatisfied with the amount of time he was allowed to spend with young daughters, Sam and Lola. So, he filed for additional custody rights. He was originally accused by his ex-wife, Denise Richards of popping pills and having frequent mood swings, so he could only visit the kids with court supervision. However, now he wants an extra weekend with them every month, along with the freedom to choose his own nanny, and he doesn't want anyone calling the house unless there's a medical emergency. As it is, Charlie feels that his current nanny, who was chosen by Denise, is spying on him for Denise. (edit)

Charlie: (on if he and his wife Brooke Mueller want kids) Yes, definitely. That's the plan. Honestly, though, I wouldn't know what to do with a boy. I have three daughters, so I've got the girl thing down! (edit) Charlie: (about second wife Denise Richards) I'm so tired of talking about her and all her shenanigans. It is what it is. I don't even care anymore. I'm going to take a stand to basically never utter her name publicly again. I think that if that's known, it will put an end to some of the drama. It's pretty obvious that my wife Brooke [Mueller] and I, through our actions and our union, have moved on with our lives. Perhaps somebody else should consider doing the same thing. There is nothing these children need protection from in my care.
