The manager of the Miss Chrysanthemum Pageant thinks someone is trying to ruin the pageant when several incidents occur to scare off the contestants. Kris and Kelly become contestants and discover the competition is being eliminated and judges bribed to ensure the bad guy's daughter wins.
When a tarantula terrorizes a contestant for the Miss Chrysanthemum Festival Pagent, producer Ben Pawl believes someone is out to sabotage the contest and hires the Angels to find out why. Kelly and Kris enter the competition and find themselves pitted against a baton twirler who recites Shakespeare and a cutthroat beauty who'll do anything to win. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, Sabrina and Bosley must contend with two Stetson-wearing thugs- and a closetful of attack pigeons.

Kris: Oh, no, after I learned that speech and smiled till my face hurt?
Kelly: And I paid $37 for a brand-new pair of white, tacky shoes.
Sabrina: (Laughing) I don't think you better walk down and dark alley's, Charlie. You bought yourself some trouble here.
Charlie: Not half as much as I'd have bought myself if one of you Angels had won. What would I have said to the loser?
Bosley: Well, which one would have won?
Kris and Kelly: She would have. (Thumbing to each other)
Sabrina: I'm glad I was only kidnapped. (edit) C.J.: (Speaking to Earl and Hubie on the phone) You two got less sense than a hound dog trying to catch him a skunk. (edit) Kris: (In her question and answer segment) My favorite colors are red, white and blue because they are the colors of our flag of freedom. (edit) Kelly: (Looking at Kris) Uh, you two better get a couple of extra bathing suits and of course, (Kelly begins to laugh) a pair of high heel shoes.
Kris: No, no, no. Wait a minute. No. No. I'm not going to be a beauty contestant.
Charlie: You might flip a coin-- odd Angel out. (edit)
