add »The year is 1975, Producers Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg are raking in the bucks with TV series like "S.W.A.T." and "Starsky and Hutch." Now they have the exciting new series they're pitching to ABC boss Fred Silverman about a trio of leather-clad female detectives called "Alley Cat." Before long, the cats become angels in the employ of a mystery man named Charlie. Go behind the scenes of TV's original "jiggle" series in its first tumultuous season. Witness the earth -shaking first encounter of Breck girl Jaclyn Smith and Wella Balsam girl Farrah Fawcett-Majors as shampoo and conditioner join forces, the brainstorming sessions wherein Spelling and Goldberg feign interest in Kate Jackson's female agenda, "$6 Million-Dollar Man" Lee Majors drunken tantrums and all that fabulous hair. The upcoming stars all give stunningly accurate portrayals of the '70s icons.
