- Writers Peter Casey & David Lee earned a 1985 Emmy nomination for their work on this episode. Casey & Lee were producers of "The Jeffersons" at the time and were looking to make the move to "Cheers." Contractual obligations kept them at "The Jeffersons" for the 1984-85 season. However, after that show's cancellation in 1985, Casey & Lee were free to join "Cheers" as producers, bringing with them "Jeffersons" story editors Cheri Eichen & Bill Steinkellner. Casey, Lee, Eichen, and Steinkellner would be key players throughout the remainder of "Cheers'" lengthy run. edit »
- Sam: Is there anything I can do?
Diane: No. This problem is strictly between myself and Frasier Crane. Suffice to say, he insists on making mountains out of molehills.
Carla: He wants you to wear a padded bra? edit » - Carla: [Eddie's] got an extra ticket to the RV show for tonight Coach. How's that sound?
Coach: Terrific
Carla: Well go ahead. I'll cover for ya.
Coach: Hot Dog!
Carla: Some luck, huh Eddie?
Eddie: Well I guess I'm not going to get a good night kiss.
Carla: You might if you're nice to him. edit » - Diane: I'm amazed we could pull that off.
Sam: Pull what off?
Diane: Fooling a man so versed in human behavior. There is a spark. Isn't there, Sam?
Sam: Well uh gee.
Diane: I don't think it would take much encouragement to turn it into an inferno. edit » - Diane (to Frasier): Do you know that in his arrogance he thought that when I called out Sam I was referring to him?
Sam: And you weren't?
Diane: No! It was a different Sam entirely. It was Sam Goldwyn. His movies always gave me great pleasure. edit » - Diane (to Sam): Don't be coy. It doesn't go with a sloping forehead. edit »
