Cher reportedly enlisted the help of famed psychic James Van Praagh in communicating with Sonny Bono after he passed away. (edit) Cher shares a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with Sonny Bono, which is located at 7018 Hollywood Blvd. The star is for their contribution to television and reads "Sonny and Cher." (edit) Cher has six tattoos: a butterfly amidst flowers across both of her butt-cheeks, crystals on her lower right arm, a Chrysanthemum on her left ankle, Chinese characters on her upper right arm, a black Orchid on the right side of her groin, and a necklace with an Egyptian Ankh & charms on her upper left arm. (edit) Cher refuses to read the gossip magazines, or watch the tabloid television, sticking to CNN for her news. She grew tired of being harassed by the paparazzi and reading the hurtful lies that the magazines put out there, so she quit looking. (edit) Cher earned critical acclaim playing the drug addicted motorcycle mom 'Rusty' alongside Eric Stolz and Sam Shephard, in the award winning film Mask. (edit)

Cher: (on her upcoming Las Vegas performances) It is going to be a visually unbelievable show with brilliant choreography. Our set moves down from the ceiling, in from the sides, up from the floor. We have screens in the foreground, the center and the back. You'll see a different stage for every song. (edit) Cher: I really don't think of myself as a singer. I think of myself as an entertainer, and the best place I do it is onstage. (edit) Cher: I know it sounds weird, but how bad, how hard can dying be? I figure it's all right because he's [Sonny's] done it, and if he can do it, I can do it. I just feel a little less anxious, a bit more comforted about being dead. (edit) Cher: I hate my fifties. They suck. I never felt older until I hit 50. And the way I first noticed was through my work. When I was 40, I was playing opposite somebody who was 21, and nobody noticed. But at 45, as you start to look older, all you can do is look good for your age. There's a certain span of time - and I'm very much there - when you have to wait till you can play the Shirley MacLaine/Anne Bancroft roles. So what am I supposed to do? Like, go camping for I0 years? (edit) Cher: After Sonny and I separated, I got my first tattoo. I thought it would be something different, a statement of freedom. 'Good' girls didn't get tattoos then, no one was doing it. (edit)
