I remember watching them so long ago, but I've moved on to more advanced shows.

I remember David the Gnome. Tom Bosley did the voice of David and Christopher Plummer did the narration. But I thought David the Gnome was from the late 80's.

Yeah, David the Gnome was actually moved to Nick Jr. from another network. Hmm... other shows were:
    Eureka's Castle
    Little Bear (not that old)

Otherwise, I think you mentioned the rest.

I admit to watching both David the Gnome and Li'l Bits quite religiously. I liked Li'l Bits but actually didn't like David, so why I watched it was beyond me!

    Remember Maya the Bee?

Just remembered one more: The Muppet Babies. Who wouldn't like a show that continually spoofs a bunch of pop culture icons/events? What stinks is that their "re-releases" that came along with those plush dolls didn't have any of those episodes because of rights, or something like that...

I liked "David the Gnome" when I was six or seven years old. However, I didn't like it anymore after they replaced the characters and theme song.

i absolutely loved david the gnome! more like unholy obsession.

along side muppet babies, gula gula island, busy world of richard scary (even cooler computer game), that show that was set in the 70's but shown in the early 90's with those folks sang "i love you" while doing sign language. very, very attached to that show, and i think the trio involved with that did a show in san antonio, tx like 15 yrs ago.

there was also alegra's window, and eruka castle. i used to like when i was very little, when i was about 7 or 8, i stopped liking it.

I hear ya. I remember there was at least a hand full of rock band references that I kinda understand now that I think back. Also, for some strange reason, I still remember the spoof they did of the show Cheers when Gonzo was sad that people thought he was weird.

Yeah, I remember my sister would sometimes mention a show like that. I think a watched it, too, but I can't remember much from it From what my sister said, the song was something like "skiddlemerinky-finkee-dee, skiddlemerinky-doo, I Love You."

Allegra's Window was cool. I can still remember some of their songs.

Yes, I remeber that song, they also had different themed shows every day. Such as, farms, where they had horses and interview kids..that was cool. ^_^

I never really developed a true liking to "Allegra's Window". But, I do remember the puppets and I think there was some real people characters. Something along the lines of Nicks "My cousin Skeeter".
