Erik Estrada did not appear in this episode. He left CHiPs in the fall of 1981 due to a salary dispute with NBC. He was briefly replaced by 1976 Olympic Decathlon Gold Medalist Bruce Jenner.
(edit)
Antony Alda (Robby Burstad) is the younger brother of actor Alan Alda who is best known for playing Capt. Benjamin Franklin 'Hawkeye' Pierce on M*A*S*H.
Keith Mitchell (Rooster) is now known as Keith Coogan. He is the grandson of actor Jackie Coogan, a child actor discovered by Charlie Chaplin. In the 1930s he sued his mother and stepfather for the earnings he made as a child. By law he had no claim to it and was awarded only $126,000 of the $4 million he actually earned. It is he for whom the the Coogan Act (California's Child Actor's Bill) is named. The Coogan Act protects the earnings of child actors. Jackie Coogan is probably best remembered as playing Uncle Festus on The Addams Family. (edit)
