I may have a theory on why Oni becomes good or evil depending on which eye is covered. Oni may be under a curse I like to call the "Yin Yang curse." Her good and evil sides may have become two separate beings due to a curse placed on her family. That is probably why she is forced to wear an eyepatch. Wasabi encouraged the evil when he tricked her into using it on Pao. It grew as the years went by and Oni tries to fight the evil. The evil wants to destroy Chickadee because she's the reason Oni is still good. Oni was in Wasabi world probably to make what she did right.

I like your theory, Stella. I have to admit, I wasn't sure about the show until this episode, but now I LOVE IT! I felt so bad for Oni when we find out that she can't control the bad eye. You could tell she was good at one point when she stood up to Wasabi to protect Chickadee. I really hope we see her again. I could see her hooking up with Chan, honestly.

Really? I see her hooking up with Kobi because they have a lot in common.

This also gives me an episode idea!

Oni and Kobura Team-up against Chuckie and Chick P. This brings the tale of On's origina and how she became Deadeye.

I just saw the episode where she makes her first appearance, "If Looks Could Kill," and I kind of feel sorry for Oni. Dr. Wasabi couldn't have possibly predicted how powerful Oni's evil half could make her because when she came back to Wasabi World to collect her half of his empire, Dr. Wasabi actually thought about asking the Chop Socky Chooks for help and even helped them break free from her mind powers at one point! But that stilll doesn't excuse the fact that it WAS Dr. Wasabi's fault that Oni even started to embrace her evil half in the first place! And when Oni's mind-beam gets reflected back to her, she suddenly realizes what she has become and flees. So at the very least, Oni now knows that she is both Oni and Deadeye, but the question is, can she control her powers? And it is clear that Chick Pea has every intention of making Oni a singular, purely good being out of her again, somehow. I sure hope she succeeds! Enough said, true believers!
