Ghostfacers

Whilst investigating the haunted Morton Mansion, Sam and Dean run into a couple of familiar faces and become inadvertent participants in a new reality show named Ghostfacers . As events turn deadly and the team are trapped in the house, the investigation becomes a battle to survive until morning.

Chris has been nominated for seven SAG awards. In 2000 he won Outstanding Performance by a Cast and was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for American Beauty. In 2003 he was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for Adaptation. In 2004 he was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for Seabiscuit. In 2006 he was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast for Capote. (edit) In 2003 Chris won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for Adaptation. Chris Cooper: (on working with animals on set) I feel comfortable around them, but if you spend time with horses or cattle you soon realize that every one of them is an individual. You look at a herd of cattle and well, they all look the same… but they know. They all have an individual personality, and those personalities change from day to day. They can have their grumpy days and their happy days and their serene days. But it's unpredictable. You can't be off in outer space when you're dealing with animals. (edit) Chris Cooper: (on his 'Seabiscuit' co-star Tobey Maguire) I had a great time working with Tobey. For such a young man, he's a really impressive guy. He had a hand in producing Seabiscuit, and I think it's great that he is juggling that end of the business with his acting. I have a mind so completely different. I like to do one job at a time, go home, spend some time with the family, and eventually a script will come my way. (edit) Chris Cooper: ... in the last 10 to 12 years or so, it's gotten to the point where I don't care how many times we rehearse the scene or how many takes we do--if I'm working well in the scene, I won't know what the actors I'm working with are going to say next. (edit) Chris Cooper: (on his role in Breach) Once word got around Hollywood we had a good script, there were some very big names knocking at the door to see if they might be able to knock me out of my position… They stayed with me.
