Chris went to Atlanta International School or AIS to study drama. While there, he played Romeo in Shakespeare's famous play, Romeo and Juliet. He studied drama in the University of Southern California. He likes go out to the cinema with his friends.

He is best known for his role on the short-lived ABC drama, Life As We Know It. He was offered this role when the casting director spotted him playing beach volleyball. In 2006, he got a role in the teenage crime solving TV show, Veronica Mars.

In 2007, Lowell became part of the ensemble cast of the ABC spin-off of Grey's Anatomy called Private Practice. Chris went to Atlanta International School or AIS to study drama. Chris Lowell is a talented young actor who got his start playing Jonathan Fields in the 2004 ABC drama Life as We Know It. Although the show was canceled after 13 episodes, Chris made his mark in the teen drama genre. In 2006 he got the role of Stosh "Piz" Piznarski on the cult teen show Veronica Mars. He played the role of Veronica's college boyfriend, an unenviable role since many fans of the show were against the relationship. Chris's next big break came in 2007 when ABC picked up the show Private Practice. Chris was cast as William "Dell" Parker, a receptionist/midwife student. In the second season of the show it was revealed that Dell had a young daughter from a high school relationship, thus giving Dell more depth and a bigger story line. Chris has made the transition from teen to adult roles rather flawlessly and it will be interesting to see what he does in the future.

I think Chris Lowell is so cute in Veronica Mars as Piz. he plays a really sweet guy. (I'm a lover of the the PizXVeronica ship) Unfortuntly, I haven't been able to see him in other shows but I'm gonna try and catch one! So I wrote down the next airing time!

I think Chris lowell performed well in "life as we know it". Jonathan Fields is my favorite character in that show and Chris can really show what Jonathan is thinking about.Chris's smile also makes me feel that is the way how Jonathan's smile should be. I look forward to seeing Chris's performance.
