Chris: (asked who comes up with the topics on “The Chaser’s War on Everything”) All five of us write the show. We meet once a week to work out which topical stories we want to cover and what the angle should be. As writers, we all have different strengths: Julian’s good at satirical stuff, Chas concentrates on the current-affairs segment; Andrew and I write the songs and sketches; and Craig’s great at left-field ideas such as “Trojan Horse” and “Blind Taxi Driver”.
