Prior to the Transformers screening that he brought his audience to on July 3rd, 2007 in Eugene, Oregon, mc chris announced that his albums would no longer be available for purchase through major markets (such as iTunes or even his own web site), making them exclusively available at his concerts. He is, however, encouraging pirating and burning of his previous albums to create higher popularity for himself when he does tours or releases future albums. (edit)
The song, "Townie," from Dungeon Master of Ceremonies contains the lyrics, "I roll back my eyes, clear my mind and proceed, paint a picture-perfect world called the house of mc." This a reference to the 2005 Marvel comics event "House of M" in which the Scarlet Witch created a "perfect" world for herself and all of the superheroes. (edit)
mc chris is featured in the song "Be Together" by Attention Deficit.

In January of 2006, mc chris was a nominee for Spin Magazine's online "Band of the Year" contest. The voting was shut down for maintenance after fans of the band he was put against, Demander, used voting bots to stack the odds in their favor; when the site came back online Demander was declared the winner. Following the announcement of the results, Demander made it clear that they did not support what the fans did, and even went as far as to admit that they did not think they would have beaten mc chris without the vote hacking. In June of 2007, mc chris announced on his official message board that he will return to Adult Swim with his new project "Battle Hi". The project, however, is tentative (scheduled to premiere in early 2010). (edit)
