Christy Marx: Biography
Christy Marx's media credits span over twenty-five years. She's written for animation, live-action television, film, video games, and comic books. Best known for her development work on the 1980s cartoon series JEM, and as a writer of an episode of the first season of BABYLON 5, she's also written for a wide variety of action-adventure animated series. In 2000, Christy received a Lifetime Achievement Award in Animation from the Animation Writers Caucus of the Writers Guild of America, west (and also became the first woman ever to receive such an honor). In 2006, she also released a book called WRITING FOR ANIMATION, COMICS, AND GAMES from Focal Press books.
