Stan Laurel helped McCann create the puppet skits for the shows Laurel & Hardy & Chuck! and Let's Have Fun!. McCann would send Laurel his scripts and Laurel would write comments in the script margins. McCann would call or write to Laurel following the show's broadcasts and give him a report of the show's success with the viewers.
