Show Summary [edit]

The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz and director McG (We Are Marshall) bring us Chuck, a series laced with humor about young twenty-something spies.

Zachary Levi (Less Than Perfect) plays Chuck Bartowski, a nerdy computer tech who has a database of government secrets downloaded into his brain. Chuck soon finds himself recruited by John Casey (Adam Baldwin), a veteran NSA Agent, for espionage work with his new partner (and first date in 10 years) Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) - leading Chuck to live a split life of computer geek and secret NSA missions.

Which song plays at the very end while he has the flashback to when the female CIA agent kills those two men? The lyrics go something like "your heart beats for [missionary/visionary?]" and then "when summers gone." I can't find a matching song on google so I guess I'm getting it wrong or the song is really obscure.

The music on Chuck is fantastic! Here are the songs from episode 2:

    1. Iggy Pop - Lust for Life

    2. Spoon - Don't Make Me a Target

    3. Gnarls Barkley - Gone Daddy Gone (although I think the original Violent Femmes version is better)

    4. The New Pornographers - Challengers

I have to say that the music director's taste in music coincides with my taste almost perfectly. Now if she would just play Irving I'd be in heaven.

Thanks for the list. The music is awesome, Alexanda Patsavas does a good job at the song choice

I think they played that Spoon song at least four or five times inthis episode. What's up with that action?

Josh normally does that in his shows. A few episodes in The OC had theme songs playing through the episodes about 5 times. I like it.

    Plus:

"Gone, Daddy Gone" - Violent Femmes.

I wonder how the slow song was called (in Ep.2)?

Have to say, love the music on this show. My little contribution for now:

Song at end of ep. 3

The National - "Slow Show" First time I've heard them played on a TV show , perfect choice I say.
