Diana Walker, is carjacked by a criminal named Calvin Riggs. The criminal is later apprehended near a video arcade. However, prosecuting the criminal will seem tough so the case is handed to Annabeth Chase.

Annabeth learns he is part of a gang. When the witnesses are put on trial. Ms. Walker’s state of being is put into question. The other witness, Mr. Clarkson, a security guard testify’s to seeing Riggs run into the arcade. However his credibility is also challenged.

Michael Hale, one of Rigg’s friends from gang Mac Ten agrees to testify for him. His alibi is a lie , a fact that gets proven later on.

Annabeth’s child, Haley is caught holding a bullet in her hand. Annabeth while shaken still agrees to prosecute Calvin Riggs.

Annabeth catches a break when a passerby tells Anna that Hale likes the Indiana Pacers. Annabeth then figures out that Hale was at a Pacers’s game. Anna traces footage for the game but can’t a good focus on Hale.

However they spot another fan at the arena with a camera, Daniel Burke, who might have a better picture of Hale. As it turns out he does. Annabeth now how enough evidence to discredit Hale and Riggs at the same time. The jury goes in to deliberate and Riggs is found guilty Riggs is not only found guilty for carjacking but since Walker’s baby was in the car , he is also found guilty of kidnapping. Since Calvin Riggs had three strikes with this case, he is sentenced to life in prison.
