The headless torso of a woman who disappeared in 1985, on the same day she filed domestic-abuse charges against her husband, is found by hikers in a wildlife preserve. The investigation quickly leads to the grisly discovery of 8 more decapitated bodies, the victims of a serial killer.

Janet Lambert died on November 2, 1985. Two other victims' pictures are shown: Latrice Hicks (killed in 2001) and Tina James (1999). Both were reported missing in November of the year they died. Additionally, three victims of the killer seen on the chart are Yvette Lopez (killed in 1995), Theresa Raymond (1989), and Gloria Zucker (1986).

This case bears similarities to the real life serial killer Robert Hansen, who would rape, kidnap and transport prostitutes to the wilderness of Alaska, where he would hunt them with a knife and rifle.
