This case bears some resemblance to the Huling family killings in St. Cloud, Minn. in 1978. In December of that year, the mother and three children were gunned down in their family home, with only 11-year-old Bill escaping after being shot at. The killer was later identified as Joe Ture, whom had a history of stalking and raping women. edit »
The stalker referred to himself as "Romeo". Romeo is the name of the main male character in Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, a famous tragedy that tells the story of two lovers whose families are strongly opposed to their relationship. edit »
Lilly: The Jacobis. Dad was an out-of-work computer programmer.
Scotty Valens: It looked like he was the doer. It was a John List kind of thing.

On November 9, 1971, in New Jersey, John List killed his wife, his three children and his mother, then ran away and assumed a new identity. He was captured on June 1, 1989 after America's Most Wanted did a story about the case and List's neighbor recognized him. edit »
