A different scenario inspired by concurrent series gives to this long-timed show a new air bubble. hide show

After more than one hundred episode, the Cold Case serie presents sometimes a little breathlessness. Indeed, the scenario web is almost always the same: to interrogate some witness , to discover their lies and finally to confort them in order to solve the case. But this episode is different and gives another way. A luminous way because this time one victim could be alive. Some could say that this scenario seems more correspond to a Crimnal Minds ones and we can't denie it, but it's a new air bubble to this long-lived serie. A good surprise and a new way of investigation for the Lilly Rush's team.

greatest episode of season 5 (and ever?) hide show

wow. wow. Words cannot express how amazingly amazing this amazing episode is. The killer/doer is the worst sob since George in "Mindhunters" and "The Woods". He kidnapps women, locks women up in dungeons, breaks their spirits then brick-walls them in when all hope is gone, unlike previous serial-killer episodes. Another unique aspect of this episode was the fact that Scotty and Lilly went to get him ("John Smith")but on the way back they got to talk to him and find him victim, in the process, though, they discover multiple victims. They discovered him mentality and the reasons why he killed (I think when he was younger he saw a woman drowning liked it, and didn't do anything). Overall, this is the most chilling episode of one of the best seasons. Everyone should watch it. Maybe no more than one time since it's so powerful, so just once is enough.

A bride-to be disappears during her engagement party. Lilly and Scott drive the villian to West Virginia hearing his side of the story. hide show

This is by far one of my favorite episodes. It is different than other episodes in that you know who did it from the beginning. This villian is one of the more crazy ones in this series. The interaction between Lilly, Scott, and the villian are great and you get to see a different side of Lilly They each had something to live for or something to hold on to but every one of this victims have eventually "broken", until Brenda. This episode is also different in that the ending is sweet as opposed to the typical bittersweet ending we are used to.

Lilly and Scotty are interogating a suspect that seems to recognise the things, the "delusions" like he says, that some women hold on, and when these things are taken away they give up...
    But... hide show

"She didn't broke... even all is taken away from her, she still had herself..." Lilly's words about Brenda in the end is the meaning of what is called "hope" and "keep fighting"... Lilly, herself, believes that their victim is alive and she finally matches the information. "You found her, Lil", admits Scotty without any need for his protection finally, even it's pretty obvious that he cares for her, a lot. She herself finds "hope".
Yes. There are things that everyone holds on, love, family, God, job... That's not bad. The only thing maybe is that you shouldn't overdo it. Lilly's loneliness is pointed...
But these: Love, family, God, job...? Are they "delusions"? Who knows?... But hope? No. You stay alive holding on hope, because it is the only that remains and only if you are strong enough to find it...
What else to say apart from agreeing that this episode is the best of the best?

One of the greatest episode hide show

Oh my God!!! In my opinion that was the one of the greatest episodes ever!!! I was really suprised and very happy when they found this woman alive! and of course the song in the final scene was great!!! I think that this episode was a little different than others but just for this reason it was very interesting:) I really like Scotty`s reaction when John Smith ask him: " Did you have any piece of her?" - maybe he was thinking about that:)the final scene when Brenda met her fiance was great and made me cry!I think that this episode was very emotional and it showed something more about Lilly`s emotions. Sorry for my english but I can`t speak english very well:)
