Title: Volunteers
The episode title is taken from the song Volunteers by Jefferson Airplane, which is heard as the opening song. (edit) The Summer of Love
When the team finds out that the victims were killed in the late 1960's, Lilly says this referring to the era. The Summer of Love was a phrase given to the summer of 1967 when the hippie movement began in San Francisco. The term is often mistakenly used of the summer of 1969 -- the year this episode's victims died -- because that is when the Woodstock music festival took place. (edit)
