If George Kramer and Cadet Morgan look and sound a little alike, it's not surprising--they are father and son. Bruce and Bruno Kirby. (edit) This episode was filmed at The Military College of South Carolina. Many of the Corp of Cadets appeared in the episode as extras, some with speaking parts. (edit) Along with Robert Culp, William Shatner, Jack Cassidy and George Hamilton, Patrick McGoohan is one of only five actors to play more than one murderer on the series. McGoohan, at four, played the most. (edit) Patrick McGoohan claimed to have done some script work on this episode at Peter Falk's request when the initial drafts were considered insufficient - the Screen Writer's Guild credits only Howard Berk, however. (edit) This is the first of Patrick McGoohan's four appearances as a murderer on Columbo. Supposedly McGoohan and Peter Falk, both perfectionists, got on great upon first meeting and ever since, leading to McGoohan's continuing association with the show. (edit)

After the "accident," Cadet Morgan tells Rumford that all the cadets are in the chapel, as ordered. A few minutes later, we see a group of cadets walking beside a building. (edit)
