Elementary "Nobody Lives Forever" Review: Understanding the Essence of the World

"Wenn bange, unruhige und böse Gedanken kommen, so gehe ich ans Meer, und das Meer übertönt sie mit seinen großen, weiten Geräuschen, reinigt mich mit seinem Lärm und legt einen Rhythmus allem in mir auf, was verstört und verwirrt ist."
(Rainer Maria Rilke)

"When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused."

"It's also good for swimming."

"I was quoting Rainer Maria Rilke, the German poet.
He was consumed by a need to understand the, uh, fundamental essence of the world.
And himself.
Think I would've gotten on quite well with him."

Season 13: Auditions 5

10: Joseph O’Brien. Can’t tell if this kid will get the pretty-boy vote or the nerd vote…Possibly both, in an odd twist…He was perfectly fine, though nothing I would consider memorable…As usual, his backstory seems to be the whole reason why they concentrated a whole segment on him, though instead of it being tragic or compelling, it’s more…quirky…An interesting change of pace, but he still kinda bored me…

9: Brody Ray. Once again, this was mostly notable because of the backstory, though to be fair, someone was bound to find out about it sooner or later, and he wouldn’t have been able to hide it for much longer…Anyway, he was just good…Not sure what to expect from him in this game after how the voters treated Julia Scotti a few years back…Though who knows? Maybe her comedy was ...Read more

Another cameo for the TARDIS
The Librarians Season 2 Episode 10 “And the Final Curtain”
Time travel stories hate or like?
I like time travel shows and really enjoy seeing/reading others views of what time travel is and what can and cannot be done.
I do have a question. When the team was in the time machine room and looking at some of the time travel machines Cassandra pulled back a sheet. It was only visual for a second and not a full view but my daughter and I both think we saw the TARDIS. Did anyone else see the TARDIS? It would not be the TARDIS first cameo appearance in a TV show. The DeLorean also made a cameos in the "time machine room". They moved so fast I wonder if there were any other time machines/parts in the room.

Actress Crystal Bush Emerges in Humanizing Portrayal of Death Row in ‘Dead Women Walking’

The streaming app Blackpills isn’t just creating original short form comedy projects the way some others are. Instead, they’re taking a more edgy approach and certainly proved it early this year with the world premiere of Israeli director Hagar Ben Asher’s Dead Women Walking at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The film was created as 9 individual vignettes showcasing different stories of women on their way to the execution chamber. One of these emotional snippets stars actress Crystal Bush as a Prison Guard whose goes out of her way in a display of human compassion during an inmate’s final moments.

Audiences can also catch Bush alongside actor Stephen Baldwin in the independent faith based film, God’s Club, currently available on Netflix.

For those theater-goers, Bush has been involved with thought-provoking productions for much of her career. She recently starred as a parent dealing with a sick ...Read more

Elementary "Sand Trap" Review: Inspiring the Right Person
Sherlock has recovered.

I loved that opening scene when he comes into the house, calling for Watson and immediately starting to tell her enthusiastically about the case he has just solved. It showed how much he has improved in the three month he was away.

In case you wondered how to identify a gifted person: People who behave like Sherlock in that scene when they talk about something they find interesting, most likely are.

Sorry , by the way, that this review is a bit late. I didn't have time to write it yesterday. I hope you still enjoy it.

It took me some time to decide on what to focus on as in my opinion there are two things in this episode that I would find interesting to talk about.
First, the case of the week and second Sherlock's social interactions. In the end I decided to choose ...Read more
