Company Town is set in a neighborhood near the nation's capital where a variety of high-ranking government staffers live close to one another. Gary Cole plays a CIA operative Martin Amberson, who is married to Angie Amberson played by Sherry Stringfield. Also in the series are Catherine Bell as Maggie Shaunnesy, Blair Underwood as Tom Wilson, Esai Morales as Ray Dupre and Michael Michelle as Bridget Wilson.

The CBS pilot was written and executive-produced by Elwood Reid, Larry Sanitsky is executive producer. The pilot was directed by Thomas Carter.
