    I had another thread similar to this on a bebop website. I believe that outlaw star and bebop are in the same universe or are one is the sequal and one the the prequel.

    I can't find my other thread with all my reasons. But until i do post along if you agree or post your reasons as well.

    I do remember one.

    Iris The waitress at cyldes bar. She appears in the cowboy bebop episode heavy metal queen. My freind says in the manga when she talks to spike she tells him he reminds her on someone she once loved(refrence to gene)

    In episode 13 Gene starwind can be scene wearing Spikes Suit

    Jim from outlaw is just like Ed from bebop. They even says hes a boy genius son of a computer hacker. Just like Ed. Ed was a hacker he may have been jims son. you never know.

    The only relation these shows have is that they center around a bounty hunter. I wouldn't say they are a prequel/sequel of each other. They may have many similarities(Ed/Jim), yes, but they are not connected in any other way. *25cents deposited*

    It would be hard for Ed to be Jim's son since Ed is a girl.
