    Fitz gets drunk at a dinner party. When his wife discovers that he has raised £5,000 on their mortgage to meet his gabling debts, she leaves him. Fitz, awakening hung over and alone the next morning, is shocked to hear that a former student of his has been brutally murdered. Grief-stricken, he offers his services as a psychologist to the police, who accept when the prime suspect claims to be suffering from amnesia.

Sean is released on probation, but he and Tina are attacked by a gang of thugs who make off with one of Sean's karaoke trophies. Sean and Tina exact a bloody revenge.

Meanwhile, Sean and Tina murder DS Giggs, then record a video diary for the police, claiming self-defence. Fitz appears on TV, profiling the killers, who plot to seduce and murder him.

    The body of a 14-year-old boy is discovered hanging from a tree by two lovers who are in the woods late at night. They flee the scene and hesitate to come forward with their discovery. The police pathologist concludes that the boy was murdered, then hanged. The boy's English teacher threatens suicide, but Fitz persuades him not to jump. The teacher is now the prime suspect, and locals, convinced of his guilt, want to make sure that he faces "justice".
