The necklace bomb featured in this episode was inspired by the collar bomb that took the life of Pennsylvanian pizza deliveryman Brian Wells in 2003. Not only does the fictional device share much of the detail of the collar bomb, but one of the lines spoken by the character ("It's not me") reflects some of the last words of Wells. edit »
