Danny was his buddy and worked robbery's together. He raped her the same way she did him, but she commited suicide therefore didn't do it. Two different stories adds up to a great show! hide show

Two very different stories as really this is one of the best shows that I think CSI Miami has put on. A nude man is being tied to the bed a victim of his own sexual desires that cost him in the end. While another story features a crematory owner as the team find out that almost all of the bodies weren't used for cremation. Very good episode and one of the best IMHO!

Two very disparate stories. One - a rapist becomes the victim of his own methods. Two a club girl is murdered and her body dumped under a pile of bodies at a crematorium hide show

I think the first story is more satisfying than the second - though the idea that a crematorium would intentionally dump bodies in the backyard instead of cremating them (and also be in the business of pulling gold teeth) is creepy in the extreme. Torn from the headlines!

The fun part is seeing Calleigh's reaction as Alexx cuts off a victim's hand in order to microwave open the rigored fingers!

The first story - a rich guy gets out of his swimming pool, goes inside his house, anwers the doorbell and is next seen stretched out on his bed having been anally raped with a foreign object and killed.

As it turns out - and this only a bit of a spoiler - he is discovered to be rapist himself, who had carried out exactly the same attacks on a number of women, one of whom actually committed suicide a week later. He's also a thief, which explains the nice house.

Who amongst the victims and their families might want him dead though? The answers again are not always as straightforward as you expect.

It's a good episode, because it deals with issues and subjects that I'm sure would never have been covered a few years ago in American series. Some of the words they use now would never have been in an early Cagney & Lacey! (though maybe in some of the later ones - that show did lead the way in calling things as they are).

The downside is that Speedle seems to be competing with Horatio as to who can look the most bored and laconic. And David Caruso still insists on saying his lines as though he's speaking to a four-year old with special needs. I'm convinced if he spoke his lines as quickly and normally as the rest of the cast, these episodes could get in another quarter of an hour of storyline!

  • Goof: As the camera pans up from the dead man to the cremation chamber, the digital blue block of color at the opening of the chamber moves. For a few frames it causes the outside edge of the chamber door to become blue and the color inside the chamber changes back to the normal color. []
  • It is mentioned in this episode that Calleigh has a tattoo. []
  • Goof: The scissors are being profiled but as seen with last scissor coming in, it's discarded after only one cut of the tape. This is NOT conclusive, as the whole blade of the scissor has to be profiled, which means he has to cut the tape at least a few times, until he has covered the whole blade, section by section. []

  • Detective Bernstein: No signs of forced entry.
Horatio: Oh...I wouldn't be too sure about that.

  • Vincent: That's a good story. I enjoyed that. But you forgot one thing... I'm a lawyer, a dawn good one.
Calleigh: You know what? You're right, I did forget one thing; Michelle's blood wasn't the only one we found on the ring. Benito Ramon's was there as well.
Eric: And the cremated ash. And the chances of that happening to anyone but the murderer are about a million to one.
Calleigh: You may be a lawyer, but I'm a CSI. A damn good one. []
