Episode Summary

The wife of a famous baseball player is brutally killed in her home and her philandering husband is charged with the crime. The jury on the case, as well as the accused and his defense, visits the house to examine the crime scene, but when the lights are dimmed, as they were when the victim was killed, and then turned back on, the ball player is found dead with a meat clever in his back and a note that reads "guilty." Now, as Horatio and the team find that the husband's defense team tampered with the crime scene, they must examine the evidence to find the couple's killers. Meanwhile, Horatio gets a call from Yelina, who tells him that her son, Ray, Jr., is missing.

    Bored... hide show

I'm sick with this episode. Completely pointless. What the hell is wrong with the writers of CSI: Miami? This is one of the worst episode in CSI: Miami.

The team investigates the murder of a man found dead in a house while Horatio tries to find the missing Raymond Jr.

Can the writers be more creative? This episode is a very good reason why should I stop watching this series. But I never give up to CSI: Miami. I continue watching every episode until the episode "One of Our Own" (season 4 finale). Oh please, Anthony E. Zuiker created the show because the show is popular and people LIKE the show. And did they expected this episode will be the episode too attract viewers? Oh Please.

Horatio's commitment to family is strong in this episode. Eventhough he is taken by surprise that Yelina is out-of-town with her boyfriend, he comes through for his nephew. hide show

Some parts of this story are predictable. As soon as they introduced the daughter of the slain parents, one knew that she was the actual killer of the mother. Typical of this series, the audience felt sorry for the daughter in the end. All she wanted was the perfect family. It was not her intention to kill her mother and have her father be charged with the murder.

The relationship between Yelina and Horatio is toyed with in this episode. The audience knows that Horatio has strong feelings towards his brother's widow. He is too much of a gentleman to do anything about it.

Horatio deals with his nephew's criminal mistakes. He treats Ray Jr. just like he would treat his own son. He is firm, but stands up for him.

    Gotta respect Horatio.

One of the cases the Lab investigates has a bite to it, Ray Jr. is involved... hide show

The two crimes the Lab must solve are: a man, a baseball superstar, charged with killing his wife, is killed in a visit by the jury to the defendant's house, all evidence points to a jury member, nut who??? Thenext is really the cream of crop in this episode, a homeless man shows up dead, on halloween's eve, thee man according to Alexx, was literally "scared to death" his heart failed from a frightening shock he recived, and it seems H's nephew Ray Jr. may have had a hand in it.

As usual more suspects than you know may have had reasons or opprtunities to kill the baseball star, most of the jurruors mseem to have something hiden or are simply lying to the CSIs. Even worse as the crime unravels, it seem that the baseball star, actually wasn't the one who killed his wife, but the last person you'd expect or have suspision abot, his daughter, it's just one of Calleigh's hunches, the Prosecutor in charge of the case can't belive what Calleigh found out, but is later forced to same conclusion.. it's the daughter, when she (Calleigh) faces the girl with the evidence, you know what comes next, tears, I didn't mean to do it, she had it coming, etc.

Ray Jr.'s case is somewhat another story, since it's halloweens eve, most kids are out and about, and about nothing good, Ray Jr. has been hanging out with some new friends the "cool type" of friends who before you know it are in trouble. When Yelina calls H worried that Ray Jr. is out and hasn't come back, H tracks him down to where he and his "cool posse" are hanging out. later when H recives word of the homeles dead man, he recalls having seen Ray Jr. and his friends with a paintball gun, which just happens to be the "murder weapon" to the homeles man's death. The DA is all too quick too show up at the lab and start making arrangement to bust Ray Jr. but not if H as something to say about it. All the kids rat out on Ray Jr. but upon closer inspection of a video the boys shot while they "shot" the homeless man, reveals the only one who tried to stop it was actually Ray Jr. The "cool group leader" can't face H and his evidence and ends up asking him to tells Ray Jr. "no hard feeling".

Bottom line is: don't mess with H's Family, got it kid ???

Halloween on CSI Miami!! hide show

Halloween on CSI Miami as the team investigates like a
OJ Simpson style murder as the wife is murdered and
The jury tries to see if the baseball star accused of
Murder is guilty or not as one of the jurors gets
Killed. Away to scare you on the week of Halloween IMO
