An adult film actress is found strangled in the park and the CSIs must find the killer. Blood and human tissue are found under Ashley Anders' nails and the DNA matches that of the CEO of the company that distributes her films – and he's a registered sex offender. Also, Calleigh discovers his answering machine audiotape on which he makes a threat against Ashley. However, there is an accident back at the lab with this crucial piece of evidence and Delko was the last person to handle it. Now, IAB's Rick Stetler is put on the case, much to Horatio's dismay, as the CSIs try to uncover further evidence in order to find the girl's killer.

An average episode. As a season finale kind of disappointing. An ending of the episode would be a nice touch if they didn't have a hint of a smile on their faces. Especially Eric. I mean they're walking towards a dead woman that probably drown and they're happy or glad? Come on. I didn't feel right for me.
Also I wish Horatio would already told Yelina the truth about his brother's kid. This whole 'I just want her to be happy, even if it's she's not going to be with me' act is getting boring.
I'm starting to watch third season and I'm hoping for more action.
The film distributor is implicated in the death of an adult film actress. The porn star was strangled. A man is thought to be the killer because of scrapings she had under her nails. David was with Ashley at her party. Delko had a spill in the evidence room. Semen was found in her bed. Someone bribed a trustee to spill acid in the lab to ruin the original copy of evidence. Speedle finds Ashley's dog in the park. The killer might have kicked the dog b/c he was helping Ashley. The guy who found her had bite marks on his leg from the dog and blood in his hat. He also has a hurt finger so did the killer b/c of the marks he left on her neck.

I'm not gonna make a review of the episode, but rather comment about how Speed as a character is always on the moral high ground. The epi revolves around the murder of a pornstar, the lab naturally become sinvloves, and as is usual not everything is as it seems at first glance. Never the less, H doesn't handle the situation very well when questioning the owner of the porn biz involved, for who the dead girl worked for, he as usual (and this not being bad) takes it personal coz the girls had apparently lied about her age, and had begun working in adilt films as a minor and we all know how H reacts to children involved in CSI cases, he also mocks the owners biz as decadent and asks him if his daughter will one day work for him.
Speed on the other hand, while looking for the dead girls dog in a park, comes upon another fine looking girl, who is also looking for the dog, she happens to be a friend of the deceased pornstar, just as she tells Speed what she's up to two frat punks start teasing her, and Speed like the gentleman he is, tells them to beat it, they insit on harasing the girl, them Speed flashes his badge and the boy flee in cower. The girl then thanks Speed and they are both on their ways. Later that day the girl a pornstar who we now know as Cookie Divine, shows up at the lab to thank Speed for his help, knowing that he didn't have to do that. Speed answers he did, and that this means no offense but he's never seen her movies (unlike Valera who we learn is somewhat of a porn freak!!!) that before today he had never heard of her, the girls asks Speed if perhaps they could have coffee someday, Speed say just not today coz she's still a material witness in the case...

This was a good episode but it didn't really feel like a season finale to me. I would have liked to see more action or more of a cliffhanger, other than Horatio talking to Rick at the end.
The case was pretty interesting & kept me guessing till the end, I even thought for a moment that it actually might be the girlfriend.
I loved it when Rick came in to investigate the accident in the lab & started attacking Horatio & his team.
The end was the my favorite part of the epiosde. I loved how it ended with the team going down to the beach to investigate a new case. Life goes on.
