Greece: Saturday, March 1st 2008 on SKAI (edit) According to the DVD commentary on this episode, Khandi Alexander was convinced that she needed to speak to the corpse of Tim Speedle, as this was the character's way of dealing with things and as she was a friend of Tim's she'd have to speak to him. They filmed it both ways and it was decided that the version of her not speaking with just the song soundtrack was more effective. (edit) This episode received a Golden Reel nomination for "Sound Effects and Foley for the Short Form". Eric: Yeah, well, you've got your problems and I've got mine. We haven't released the crime scene yet.
DOI Guy: Your crime scene is part of a bridge failure.
Eric: Well murder trumps the bridge, okay? So you're going to have to relinquish the boat.
DOI Guy: You CSI guys have been dusting and tape-lifting for five hours. What else are you planning on doing to the thing?
(Something catches Eric's attention. He shines his flashlight on the boat.)
Eric: Have a look at that. You see that?
(A bracelet is caught on the boat.)
Eric: Must've been jarred loose when the boat was being towed. I'm going to have to search the exterior of this vessel.
(The DOI Guy nods and walks away.)
(edit) Horatio: Fraud, theft, embezzlement...
Det. Salas: Look at the victims, rich men in their 50's and 60's.
Horatio: Broke their hearts... then broke their bank accounts (edit) Calleigh: (To Speedle & Delko) Alright, which one of you stole my crime light?
Speedle: Uh, stole, is, is very negative. I, I had borrowed it and uh, I re... I re... I placed it, I put it back.
Calleigh: Well, it would be nice if you charged it first, I was at the scene and it flat lined.
Delko: Sounds like she's mad at you.
Speedle: Calleigh, I sincerely apologize.
Calleigh: Apology accepted. Give me yours.
Speedle: Go ahead, it's in my kit.
Calleigh walks out
Speedle: (Mutters to Delko) I hope she doesn't need any sodium rhodisinate. (edit) Speedle: This car is just a bad investment, just happy I have my bike.
Horatio: Someday you may need something with doors.
Speedle: Well, I got plenty of time for that. (edit)

Goof: While the couple are sitting on the back of the rescue truck, you can see them switch positions under the blanket 2 or 3 times. (edit) Goof: In the beginning, when Horatio calls in and says that they have a missing 6-year old boy, they say they are on the case. Then, near the ending, they mention something about the boy, and they say he is eight years old. That's two years off. (edit) Goof: The reference to a vehicle wheelbase of 60 inches is way off. There is no car whose centerline distance between the front and rear wheels is only five feet. Most automotive wheelbases are between 90-100 inches and the biggest cars get over 120 inches. The S-Type Mercedes referred to by Horatio has a 121.5 wheelbase. The writers should have referred to track or track width, the spacing between front wheels (or rear wheels), where 60 inches is fairly common (and the S-Type is 62 inches). Track width would also be a lot easier to use as evidence since calculating wheelbase from tire tracks would at the least require measuring the arcs from all four tires. (edit)
