This is the second episode this season to open with a fatal shark attack (after 'Blood in the Water').
Shark attacks are actually incredibly rare, and incidents resulting in fatalities are even less common. (edit) The song, Sloop John B by the Beach Boys is played during this episode.
I wanna go home, let me go home
Why don't you let me go home
