CSI: Crime Scene Investigation took television by storm in 2000 with its innovative and cutting-edge updating of a standard series concept – in this case, the cop show. Suddenly, instead of simply whodunit, solving crimes was a matter of howdunit, and with what size shoe, and whether anyone left behind traces of... more »

can a show get any better? hide « show »

i dont know if a show can get much better... except csi ny. csi miami is probubly the most action show out of all the csi's. theres the most stunts, the most shooting and just the more on the edge of you seat. the charecters are casted perfectly the actors and actresses all fit well with there charecters persinality. i love calleigh and eric together, and i think the writers wrote them in together perfectly, they didnt rush them together. csi miai is uniqe because of horatio and his sunglasses. and because the action and the way the whole team acts like one family, always supporting eacthother and always counting on eachouther. thios is such agreat show!!!

24 hours of sunshine? hide « show »

When this show started, I thought it was great. I enjoyed watching it; the landscape, the architecture and the feel of Miami. Looking back at those episodes (I watch the reruns occasionally) I realize how ridiculous CSI: Miami really is. Women wear white pants, low-cut blouses and stiletto heels to gory crime scenes and never get a spot of anything on themselves. I find it hard to believe that a coroner is going to wear white to examine someone who's been shot. No way. And there's the pesky little detail of solving each crime in a day. Either Miami has 24 hours of sunshine or the writers don't want to be even a tad bit realistic. I know in most crime labs around the country DNA, fingerprint, toxicology and bullet comparisons results don't come back in a matter of minutes; they come back in a matter of days or weeks. The cinematography is almost seizure inducing. The overly bright colors, cutting, panning and zooming are getting tiresome. I think Burn Notice portrays Miami more realistically than CSI: Miami. And one more thing… and I the only one who thinks "Tripp" looks like he's always chewing tobacco?! Gross!

Addictive, dramatic, and an all around fantastic series! I really recommend watching it. hide « show »

CSI: Miami is one of the best crime drama shows on television, at least in my personal opinion. I just can't stop watching, especially since Eric and Calleigh became a couple. It's so addictive! Eric, Calleigh, Ryan, and all the rest of them really make the show. Though sometimes it gets away from the actual "Crime Investigating" and more towards the drama part of it, but hey, that's what keeps people so interested. The cast is outstanding and the cases are exciting even if they move a tad bit out the realm of reality from time to time. You really learn to know and love the characters and their lifestyles; each has their own unique personality, experiences, and life story. Plus, all the love triangles and relationships going behind the scenes isn't boring either ;3

    5 Mediocre

The classic Cop drama continues as Horatio parades around in his sun glasses ruining criminals days and seducing cougars with his barely audible husky voice. hide « show »

I love to watch this show when I do not want to think at all. It's the perfect show to veg out to and laugh your A$$ off to. Heratio is the best you always know exactly what he's going to say, but the way he says it is priceless. The visual appeal of the show is great constant color, tons of hot bodies, ariel shots over Miami which is of course halarious because that is the only thing filled in Miami. The cast in general takes themselves WAY! too seriously but it makes it so funny. If you want to feel really smart and see some sexy chicks in swimsuits watch it!

I was so not expecting that person to be the killer! hide « show »

I totally loves this episode. It was one of the best ever! And I never expected that married woman to be the killer either, it was completely unexpected for me.

It's great to see that some of the humor, that the show seemed to ahev lost when Speedle died, is back. I loved the prank that Eric and Ryan pulled on Tara, although I do understand her frustration. Just the fact that Eric and Ryan did somethin together without even the slightest argument was nice to see. I know they're not enemies anymore, but sometimes they still make little comments here and there, (of course that is fun too).
I like Tara more and more too, she is really nice and it's fun to see a younger ME, instead of all the other ME's on the other CSI showes as well, (they're not exactly young). I kind of missed seeing Frank in this episode, or maybe I just don't remember seeing him. I know I saw him in the beginning, but what about later?
though, one can't expect to see every charachter for thirty minutes each, during in episode which is only 40 minutes long.
Anyway, this is one of those episodes that I will love watching over and over again.
