Strange events begin to happen as the CSI team tracks down a serial killer who killed during a solar eclipse.
Write a Recap »It's Halloween but some silliness can't be overlooked... hide show
A Halloween episode so you can expect a bit of silliness, but really.
First up, the solar eclipse: it takes hours for a solar eclipse to happen, unlike the sudden plunge into darkness shown here. And while all the bathing beauties simper "what's going on?" I can only think of Flash Gordon: "This morning's unprecedented solar eclipse is no cause for alarm!" Truth is, eclipses are big tourist draws; there's not a chance that even the dumbest of the dumb at the poolside won't have heard something about the forthcoming celestial event.
Alexx then gets poisoned by the body because it's full of drugs. Maybe she'll take more precuations with her protective gear in future. Or most likely, not.
But Wolfe is back! Yay Wolf. Finally another reason to keep tuning in to this poor season.
It seems the main suspect can't have committed the murders because he has a disease that means he can't go out in sunlight; the CSIs don't bother to research his condition to find that he can actually step outside without immediately blistering. Poor protocol.
One final word about the solar eclipse murder; it would be easier to commit a crime at night than during the eclipse for the reason I first mentioned. Eclipses take time and the totality lasts minutes. Did the murderer hover on the balcony for hours and then run down hundreds of stairs and over to the pool to commit the murder and then run all the way back in under three minutes?
Not much of a Halloween treat.
I hadn´t seen this show in a while. hide show
Even though I hadn´t seen this show in a while, it still has the same magic and attraction that made me watch it for the first time.
I love how all the CSI talk about team work. Caine is right, if we don´t do it, we die alone. So the case is about an alleged werewolf and the curse of being killed during an eclipse. Even when they mention the possibility, at the end they´re scientists and they have to find, yes, the scientific explanation.
Since I´ve missed several episodes, I wish I could understand what is the deal with Delko and Calleigh. I always thought they look good together (even when she´s older than him). But I like how this CSI shows more of the personal lives of their characters than Las Vegas.
LG
I think this was a great episode because it made some statements. Ryan was back on duty, Calleigh is having problems with her relation, Delko must find himself another girl because Calleigh is busy with the detective. Here also showns that Ryan must be a good jobmate with the rest of the people, and stop being such an ass trying to be better than everybody. Delko must be friendly-er with Ryan, Natalia should become a field CSI entirely (we never knew what happened with her firing test)- There would be nice if sometime the cast homes are shown in the show, as they all are normal workaholic people......but at the end, great show
This is not a very good episode, but at least it's showing that CSI: Miami is getting better, after some disappointing episode in season 4, season 5 and "Dangerous Son". The first victim is murdered during a solar eclipse, and the CSI finds out the killer might be a mutant. As far as I concerned, I don't think scientist believe in mutant? Whatever. As the investigation go further, the CSI find out they are dealing with a serial killer. Wow! An average episode, not the best but still good. I love CSI: Miami now, I can't even believe I enjoy watching CSI: Miami! Congratulations to CSI: Miami, the show is getting much better now.
Loved loved loved this episode! hide show
This episode had me sitting on the edge of my chair the whole time! It was good too see Ryan reinstated!
I'm so glad he's back, and Alex in the beginning of the episode, lol! She's amazing, love her!
The guy with the wolfe was quite scary actually, at least his eyes. Thye really had you guessing who the killer was, it never really suspected it to be Mr. Pike. But he really looked like a murderer once he was caught.
And it was a sweet moment between Jake and Calliegh in the end, quite sweet!
But I just loved the scene with Ryan and Horatio, aww!
The only thing that bothered me there was Horatio's "Its in your blood, isn't it?" and "If we don't hand together we die alone", It just seems silly to always talk about how everyting is in Ryan's blood, just silly sometimes.
And maybe that last line would have been better with something like "If we don't stick together we die alone", maybe?
Anyway, I love this episode very much!!
