- Goof: Danny does an experiment where he grabs a dummy's shirt while wearing handball gloves. After he grabs the shirt, he tugs on it, smoothing it out, and there's no dirt on it. When he picks up a picture of the victim to compare it, there's dirt all over the shirt. edit »
- Goof: In the camera phone pictures, Elliot Stanton's car is a GMC Denali. When Stella and Danny find him on the street, it's a Cadillac Escalade. edit »
- Goof: The episode opened with people washing or showering & suddenly the water turned blood red. We find that it came from a dead woman in the water tower.
An adult human body contains roughly 6 quarts of blood (a gallon & a half) & she was in a tank that had to 1 or 2 thousand gallons minimum. The blood in the water by the time it got down to the outlet feeding the building would have been so diluted as to be barely noticeable. edit »
- Lindsay: But I was taught that instincts point you in a direction. Science confirms the theory. edit »
- Lindsay: (about Dr. Zimmer) He's everywhere something bad happens. Maybe HE'S cursed, not the building. edit »
- Hawkes: (about Hatfield) I'd say this started as a good old-fashioned playground fight. edit »
- Lindsay: There have been six unexplained deaths in this building. People say it's cursed. I took the Grave Line tour. You visit places where famous people have died or mysterious deaths have occurred. This was stop number eight.
Mac: Now it's death number seven. edit » - Dr. Zimmer: This is not a good time. I've been in surgery for eleven hours and on my feet for thirty-six.
Mac: Doctor, if you keep impeding my investigation I'll be glad to take you somewhere you can put your feet up for quite awhile. edit »
- Name: Hatfield and Stanton.
This is a reference to the infamous story of the Hatfield and the McCoy's, two feuding families. The Hatfield in this case is in a similar type of feud: he works for a company and there is a competing company that the prime suspect, Stanton, works for. Also, Stanton, is similar to the last name of a Bill Stanton, a relative of both the Hatfield and McCoy's who testified in court over a land dispute which was ruled in the Hatfield's favor. We find out that Stanton, the prime suspect, didn't actually kill Hatfield; it was his boss. edit » - Sid: There's the smell of the blood still... all the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand.
This line is a reference to Shakespeare's Macbeth. edit »
