Mac and Danny find a Marine Corporal dead but things don't seem right about his death. They find a drop of blood on his sleeve, new signs of a struggle and several medals on his uniform. They both wonder why the Marine didn't fight for his life.
Stella, Lindsay, and Dr. Hawkes are all busy investigating a dead body in front of a car; they believe the body to be that of Charles Wright. There is one slight problem: Sid confirms that the body found in the car is not Charles Wright. The body in the car is a female.
After Sheldon carefully begins facial reconstruction of the skull, he would use a tool that will allow him to import this call into the computer so he can match a face to that skull. Sheldon comes up with a surprising result: the skull and the photo match that of Aiden Burn.
Great they got Pratt, but At too high A cost. hide show
I Am bittersweet when It comes to this episode. 0n 1 hand, I Am proud that they got D.J. Pratt, but the way was 2 forms of dis.-appointing & gusting. We can cheer Aiden As being A martyr, but this was An appalling way to end her presence on the show. Eli Talbert wrote A disgraceful end for Aiden. Thanks to this Incompetent, ALL hope of the original team gettin back together. Killing Aiden was the LAST thing that should have happened. Anthony Zuiker should have re-written this episode so that Aiden would have escaped Pratt. Actually Zuiker should have Vanessa Ferlito honor her contract. I was shocked that he would allow her to quit after coming off only A year after Rory Cochrane quit C.S.I. MIAMI. If I were Zuiker, I NEVER would have cut her loose. I would set the stage for Aiden's return. All this has made HEROES hard to watch. When I watch the Season 2 DVD, I Am almost tempted to skip from Stealing Home right to Charge Of This Post. Maybe Team Zuiker could have Ferlito come back As Aiden's twin sister, so that we can someday have the original cast back together because Anna Belknap Is too much of A crybaby.
Another Well Scripted Episode of CSI:NY from Season 2! hide show
This Episodes is just brilliantly Written, the plot is perfect and so is the Setting.

Very sad in both cases; both victims don't deserve to die. hide show
Case 1: An officer dead among the bushes; when and where did he meet an enemy that wanted him dead?
Case 2: A woman's remains burnt beyond recognition in someone's car that was reported stolen and it turned out to be someone close to home.
In Case 1 we see a very good marine coming into the aid of a woman whose husband is an abuser especially when he had too much to drink. Guess who killed him? The damsel in distress killed her hero, really ironic. The sentimental part is when Mac help the marine fulfill his task.
In Case 2, Hawkes try to recreate the image of the victim using the same methods and machinery we've seen Aiden used before. He did it over and over again and showed the rest of the team the shock discovery. Everyone gets angry esp Danny but Mac maintains his cool with the need to find hard evidence to pin down the suspect and finish Aiden's last wish. Here comes the end of Aiden but she didn't die in vain and she left important clues for Mac. Sad to see her go, but this case is well-written and great end to the sadistic rapist.
Okay, while this may not be a conclusion for the whole series, it is a sad conclusion on the life of Aiden Burn. hide show
This was an extremely sad episode of CSI: NY because it was the last episode that we saw Aiden Burn in. Burned beyond recognition in a car after being beaten to death by DJ Pratt, Aiden was only identified through facial recreation from her skull. The effect it had on the team (and me) was upsetting as we realized that our hopes for Aiden's reappearance on CSI: NY were crushed. Call me crazy, but the characters grow on you to the point that you get attached. And in this episode the CSI: NY team lost the character I was most attached to.

OH MY GOD! AIDEN IS DEAD! R.I.P. hide show
A truly, truly sad episode. Aiden was my favourite character in CSI: NY, CSI, CSI: MIAMI. I was really sad that she died, and CSI: NY would never be the same. The episode was really nice and all, but, I don't know... I actually cried when I found out that Aiden Burn died. I would have really liked to see Aiden Burn again, but now, I suppose that it would be impossible. The team was really full of heroes, as they took on the biggest challenge that they have ever faced. I hope the killer is arrested for life. Rest in Piece - Aiden Burn.
