I liked this episode. It was sad though when Lindsay told danny that she couldn't be in a relationship, Danny looked so heartbroken, and decided he'd settle for what she was willing to give him at the moment, just a friends who had a job to do. Lindsay looked heartbroken like she didn't want to hurt danny but did so anyways by first telling the guy that she really liked him just couldn't be in a relationship with him and that maybe they should do their jobs. But this episode makes you think twice about going to the premiere of a new alcohol. Storing vodka in containers made of ice, whole new verison of on the rocks!
In this episode, Danny, Lindsay and Mac work together on a case. For Danny and Lindsay's case some girl is murdered in a club and the must find out who did it! Flack also helps out with this case and I forget what Stella and Hawkes do. hide show
I like this episode but it also made me sad. We find out that Lindsay and Danny were supposed to have a date, their first real date! However, Lindsay was unable to make it for reasons unknown...which makes me very very sad because they are totally meant to be. Danny is very cute throughout this whole episode because he is constantly trying to get Lindsay to have lunch or dinner with him. At the very end of the episode Danny confronts Lindsay about their feelings for each other and she says that right now she just can't be with him! I am holding out hope for the rest of the season.
Great Script for one case. The other well not so great. hide show
Okay in regards to Ms Nettles murder. I loved the whole concept. I thought it was really interesting, especially the murder weapon. Now that was cool, literally & figuritivily. Now we know that there is obvious tension between our favorite detectives but that doesn't keep them from doing their jobs. Which is a credit to them. Now the of the marathon runner's murder was a great concept and I thought it was interesting at the start, but soon it was just all over the place. I thought there were too many variables in regards to how and why the murder took place. I think I stopped paying attention when the rare cat became involved.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD for danny and lindsay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hide show
There is some kind of a murder and then lindsay finally agrees to go out with danny and she leaves him out to dry by going to work and not bothering to call him or tell him where she is and he gets stood up S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D D ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

THE BEGINNING:
We have an ice princess murdered at a Vodka release party. I have to say I appreciated this episode because it shows HOW crazy New York openings…for ANYTHING can be. Yes they do go that crazy. I loved the Penguins. Hahaha.
THE CASES:
First is the case of the Ice Princess. Weeeee, dead icy chick. This case is great because well there is a party and tons of people who are suspects, and a boyfriend who has an alibi. What I loved is she had a BAC of 0, but she had vodka in her stomach. What killed her was no ordinary icicle! MWAHAH excellent.
I have to say, I love Danny’s detective skills, and I love that they showed it. I loved how he got the guy to lean back so he could get his prints. Brilliant :D
Lindsay is sooo good, even though she turns him down for food again, poor Danny! I love how she acted with the bratty waitress who’s father was an attorney, “believe me, I will” indeed. :D
And the feather wasn’t from the girl, but the boyfriend? His alibi seems to be false, he killed his girlfriend! Oooo jerky jerk jerk. God I hate guys sometimes.
Second is the case of the marathon runner who died of Cyanide poisoning. And where is it coming from? Some of the water!! However, cyanide wasn’t what killed him… interesting, since there was none in his system, Mac suggests carbon monoxide? How does that happen? This case was great because of that. This case is great because of all the curves such as there were fish eggs on the vic’s clothes, and frostbite on his face. I love the connections they made- the nozzle found at the scene was what killed him, or part of it. They find a witness soon enough, a guy in a wheelchair.
And they find a girl who had a wild cat as a pet. She had a pet with cyanide poisoning. Poor thing. I love how one thing leads to another in this show, there is fiber on the cats claws which leads Stella to a woman with a broken screen in her window, who uses CO for her paintings, which she did Sushi (which had the eggs) on it. Brilliant. I love these connections! The sister of the handicap runner, the painter, killed the guy because HE was the one who caused her brother to be handicapped. Reed, the victim, was not a good guy to the guy he handicapped. Again, I love this episode. This case especially. Why? Because of the sister’s acting. She was a superb actor in CSI as the hostess in Recipe for Murder. She killed the guy, and claimed her brother had no part. She said her brother is already in prison.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS:
Woahhhh Lindsay stood him up? Poor Danny! I just felt so bad for him! I mean poor guy was all “are you alright?” Bless him! And then she says we can’t be together. FAVORITE SCENE:
I wanna grab a slice scene was just too cute. TEE HEE I love Danny!! He is just so cute! I loved how the two of them played with that scene. It definitely made for a great scene. And then there was the chemistry scene. Poor Danny looks crushed when he thinks she doesn’t feel it. “Danny… I like you… a lot.” They both look so heartbroken. Poor kiddos. OVERALL:
An excellent episode. Shipper status behind, it made for great tv watching.
