The CSIs discover that car tampering led to the explosion that killed a racing legend on the next episode of CSI: NY.
The CSIs team found themselves involved into the obscure world of modern vampirism cult in which blood sharing is at the core of an eccentric but allegedly spiritual brand of religion as a young woman is found dead by exanguination in the Central park snow, with her earlobe chopped and a puncture wound in her neck.
The CSIs get immersed in the world of F1 racing to investigate the death of a racing legend pilot in a car explosion two days before a Grand Prix Race. Soon they'll discover that speed, adrenaline and sponsors aren't always all that comes into play in the the professional racing community in general and the Seraphim Racing Team in particular.
The third edition of the "CSI" franchise sets up shop in the Big Apple, where taciturn Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) and his partner, Detective Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes), lead a crime-solving team. Like his counterparts in Las Vegas and Miami, Taylor knows that people may lie, but… More the evidence rarely does. In the city that never sleeps, CSI: NY never rests.

This show just brings excitement every episode. the Third part in the CSI Francise lands in the very city of New York. With Gary Sinise playing the lead role as Det. Mac Taylor this show should get some good ratings. I noticed that this team is very close and that Taylor and Bonasera are just really good friends. ( I apologise if this part of the review offended anyone.) In the latest episode Second Chances Kim Kardashian was a good guest star. This show brings in some of the greatest actors as guest star. One guest star I would like to see would be Matthew Bomer or Matthew Gray Gubler. or have a crossover between CSI: NY and Criminal Minds.
greatest show EVER! :) :)
Even as a little kid I always loved to watch crimes shows but there is just something about this show that sets it apart from the rest. The feel of this show is totally different to that of the original CSI show or to that of CSI Miami. While the the two CSI shows are good it is CSI NY that love and never miss if I can help it. They solve interesting crimes, and it shows that sometimes life is not all black and white there are gray areas as well. But is not just the crime solving that makes this show great. The actors all pull off amazing performances and you can see the bond that the team have. It is more than just co-workers it is like a family unit and I feel that it really adds to the many levels of this show. It makes me feel invested in these characters than I do in any other show. This is not just to do with the actors but it is also a testament to the writers of the show and to the many behind the scenes people. As the seasons go on it seems to be going from strength to strength and I look forward to every new episode.
I have watched just about every episode of the first CSI, got addicted to Miami, then found out Gary Sinese (SP) is on NY, OH YES!! hide show

What a Wonderful Program hide show
I only began watching CSI:NY about three months ago and have made it to Episode #101 as I write this. I have always loved crime dramas where a case is solved during one or two shows. Beginning with Perry Mason and on down the line with Hawaii Five-O, Quincy (the father of the CSI genre), Without A Trace, Law & Order, etc., I really enjoy the genre.
What makes this show special is the cast. I like every single person on the team a lot and that's rare. I can identify with the characters and the impact their jobs have on their personal lives. My favorite is Stella. This is the type of person I would love to work with: someone who has my back, is a friend when needed, does her job professionally and with integrity and has a ton of compassion and empathy. She also has a lovely smile!
Many of the shows have two cases and that's something I have not seen before. The writers do a wonderful job of tying the cases together and the twists and turns in some of the stories are excellent. I rarely figure out who did it and I like that.
