All the cast and crew of CSI Las Vegas deserve a round of a pplause for all their hard work to make the espisodes fun, looking forward to the new series in September.
Kamakaze Grandma plows into a crowded eatery. A woman is the only fatality in a carbon monoxide posioning. hide show
One of the episdoes that features Detective Lockwood before he is killed in "In the Box".
Sara's breakup with Hank is followed by Sara and Catherine bonding. Catherine suggests they go for a beer and Sara doesn't object. When Sarah first showed up, she and Catherine did not get along. Catherine even made comments about Sarah never being part of the team. This shows that they have grown on each other as friends.
I would have liked to see more come of Sara and Catherine interviewing the insurance people. In this series, the only thing they could do is Catherine said it made her sick, unlike Law & Order, where they would try to put the insurance company on trial for murder.
Sorry Sara, Hank's no good for you. hide show
From when Sara first saw the picture of Hank, I wanted to yell at the screen to tell her to stay away from him and to tell her what he was really like. The storyline was interesting, with the final few minutes sad when the grandson found out that his grandmother left him all of her money so he could get an education, but due to the nature of her death the insurance became void. All in all this was quite an interesting episode, between the Sara/Hank deal and the main storyline of the woman and her grandson. A good episode that I wouldn't mind watching again.
An excellent episode with a painful conclusion. hide show
The two cases in this episode are strong to say the least. The beginning is particularly powerful and backed up by some good character moments, specifically the interactions between Sara/Hank and an amusing 'grass' scene between Sara/Greg.
This episode plays host to some excellent actors, the son of the monoxide case particularly creepy. And you sympathise with the 'kamikaze Grandma', which is rare in this series. Again the writers have created unforgettable, believable supporting characters who interact well with the main cast.
I really don't have any major issues with this episode. Yes, the pace could have been quicker and there really didn't seem to be a satisfying conclusion in Sara and Hank's relationship, although I was glad that Sara and Catherine gelled well with the case and its aftermath.
Overall, a good example of why to watch this show.
The cases were very interesting and hard to solve and Hank turns out to be a jerk. hide show
