Ronnie: Catherine, I left my phone at the scene. I need to go back and get it.
Catherine: Yeah, you better. They're department issue, and if you lose it, you replace it.
Ronnie: Does that include the cost of the contract?
Catherine: Oh, yeah.
Ronnie: Damn it. I'll see 'ya later. (edit) Ronnie: This place is creepin' me out.
Catherine: It's supposed to. (edit) Vincent: You're making a big mistake, you've got the wrong dude.
Brass: Yeah, a lotta guys tell me that. (edit) Wendy: Have you seen Catherine around?
Grissom: No. Why?
Wendy: Because I just got the DNA results back for Weatherly Adams, and the skin under her nails and the semen from her SAE, they both belong to Von Krunty.
Grissom: Who?
Wendy: Von Krunty. A.K.A Zack Putrid.
Grissom: Who's that?
Wendy: The titan of terror, the sultan of slash... he's the movie director. I just found him in CODIS on a statutory rape charge in Laughlin. He was 18 and the girl was 16. Can you believe that?
Grissom: What's the matter with you?
Wendy: Nothing.
Grissom: Go tell Catherine what you've found. Make sure you pull all the old evidence out of storange in case she needs it. (edit) David (during Weatherly's autopsy): You really don't recognize her?
Doc Robbins: No.
David: Did you ever see Chop, Chop, Fizz, Fizz?
Doc Robbins: No.
David: Can I Lick the Spoon?
Doc Robbins: Please, David.
David: They're classics.
Doc Robbins: Those are not classics. The Exocist, The Shining, Rosemary's Baby... Those are classics. (edit)

This is life imitating art imitating life.
Subtle self reference, as this CSI episode is art imitating life imitating art imitating life. (edit) In this episode, Catherine gets a determined admirer in the form of Dickie Peebles, played by actor Martin Klebba, who was most recently seen in Pirates of the Caribbean. (edit) Character Actor Irwin Keyes, who plays the horror film actor Russ Beaudreux in this episode, is easily recognizable as a fixture of actual horror films, having acted by his estimation in over 50 horror films. (edit) Character actor/comedian Will Sasso ("Mason Lafoon") has appeared in many films and television shows, and is probably best known for his comedy work on Mad TV . (edit) Actor John Ventimiglia, who guest stars in this episode as the producer Stanley Vespucci, is best remembered as Tony Soprano's long time friend, the restaurant owner Artie Bucco on The Sopranos. Oliver Zarco: Even though I was only at an entry level position, Weatherly and I were already an item. Just like Julia Roberts and what's-his-name.
This is a reference to Julia Roberts dating and marrying cameraman Danny Moder. They have three children. (edit)
