The CSI team investigates the murder of a man suffering from a congenital hypertrichosis, causing him to grow excessive body hair. Elements of the case suggest a connection with a belief in werewolves. The case leads to the victim's sister, who suffers from the same disease. Because of her condition, she'd been hiding from the world, but it turns out that she's hiding facts that are vital to solving the case. Add a recap »

  • The picture of the Werewolf, Grissom is looking in his office is the picture used in the Wikipedia website in the article about werewolves and the words used by Grissom explaining the werewolf seems to be taken by the same article. edit »
  • In all the episode we get the impression that Hayden was the best guy we could imagine: "... it was like he was constantly trying to make up for his physical imperfections by doing everything perfectly." But it seems a little strange that such a good guy would have robbed a gambling website. edit »
  • Warrick reads the threatening email, the address is casinodan@gmail.com.

It seems that the CSI creators are in love with Google Inc. In at least one previous episode different people use Google.com as a search engine and all the e-mail addresses mentioned until now are @gmail.com addresses. edit »
  • Leisha Hailey, who plays Allison, was in the band The Murmurs with Heather Grody, who is a founding partner, with Jorja Fox, of Honeypot Productions. edit »
  • Leisha Hailey (who plays Allison) was in a band The Murmurs - who thanked Jorja Fox in all three of their albums. edit »

  • Catherine (upon finding a small mound of dirt): That ain't no ant hill... that dirt's fresh. edit »
  • Warrick: Well this victim definitely had a lady in his life.
Sara: That's odd... there's not a single feminine touch in this house. edit »
  • Warrick (asking about the type of bullet used to kill Hayden): Why silver?
Brent Martin: It seemed appropriate. edit »
  • Hodges: And I thought Robin Williams had hairy arms. edit »
  • Doc Robbins: You know, Gil, we're all intrigued by our nightmares when we watch freak shows, but basically we're all thinking the same thing.
Grissom: Yeah, I'm glad they're not looking at me. edit »
  • Hodges: And I thought Robin Williams had hairy arms.

Standup comedian Robin Williams has done several bits regarding his excessive body hair. edit »
  • When Sara was inspecting the house, one of the walls was covered with butterfly paraphernalia. This may have been something taken from episode 81, "Butterflied" in which Grissom stated to Dr. Lurie how he couldn't give up all that he's worked for to be with the girl (namely Sara) that had given him the chance to live his life again. edit »
  • In the scene where the body of Hayden is about to be autopsied, three lab techs come to look at his body. Hodges says "It's not every day you get Chaka on a slab." Hodges later comments on he's going to get cranky if David comes in to see a sleestak in his lab. "Chaka" and "Sleestak" are allusions to characters in the popular Sid & Marty Kroft television series "Land of the Lost." edit »
