As Spider struggles to orchestrate the event, Chicken Little raises an alarm: the dam is leaking! Efforts to stopper the hole are unsuccessful and water is rising fast until Digit's inspection reveals that the hole is larger on the inside of the wall than the outside. He makes a model of the shape of the hole and the kids use it to make a plug to fit the hole.
They return to rehearsals, only to have Wicked's rehearsal interrupted by the collapse of the platform on which she is standing. She quits the show. The watching Hacker is furious that his plans are being sabotaged along with the show. But he's amused to learn that the kids, in attempting to fix things, are unknowingly working to bring them to fruition.
Matt and Inez, with Digit and the Three Pigs, set out to strengthen the platform by adding more legs. Jackie argues that as the legs didn't break, but fell over, adding more wont solve the problem. She uses a sqwak pad to make an idea model of the platform and to try-out various solutions. Eventually she decides the legs need to be braced. The others, having had no success with the additional legs, agree to try her plan and are pleased with the results just before the curtain goes up on the show, Wicked returns and reclaims her position as the star of the show. But when the lights go out and someone steals Wicked's lucky hat, she withdraws again, saying she can't perform without it. While Spider puts first the Cat and the Fiddle and then Digit telling knock-knock jokes on stage to placate the crowd, the kids and the Three Pigs look for the hat. Matt decides they need to think of the hat in a new way in order to find it, so he makes a paper model. Jackie realizes that when inverted, it looks like a conical container. Looking for something in the hat rather than something with the hat in it, Inez soon locates it and the Wicked Witch takes the stage.
At the last moment, Pig One reveals Hackers plan and Spider stops the show. Pig Two admits that he helped Hacker arrange to destroy the Skywall in return for promised protection from the Big Bad Wolf, and Pig One that he'd been trying to stop the celebration to prevent it. As fireworks light up Happily-Ever-After, Hacker vows to return again.
For Real: Inspired by her love of space things on T.V. and in the movies, Bianca considers becoming an astronaut. At the Lower Hudson Challenger Center, she learns how NASA uses simulations to prepare for space missions.
