Carousel The name given to Steve Pitt and his friends is Carousel. This is an allusion to the 1956 Rodgers and Hammerstein film of the same name. The main character discovers his wife is pregnant and falls into crime with his friend Jigger to try and support her. (edit) First Night The name of Steve Pitt's restaurant is a reference to the opening performance of a theatrical performance, it is also a reference to himself and his friends who all had occupations surrounding the theatre.
