Show Summary

Edit Summary »

Burt Reynolds plays Lt. Detective Dan August.

Dan August enjoyed only a short run on TV due to poor ratings, but shortly after it was canceled, Burt Reynolds' career took off.

To capitalize on his new fame, several episodes were combined into 2 hour TV movies and re-aired due to the new celebrity of its lead actor. All in all, Dan August was yet just another one of those police/detective shows of the 1970s.

Borderline acceptable. How far down has television sunk to these days. Not to disrespect the creators of Dan August but I guess it's simply the trend of tv these days (nothing good on.) Time poorly wasted. hide « show »
