Andre: You'll excuse my nervousness but it's my first experience as a spy.
Scott: It's my first experience as a traitor. (edit) Andre: You drive a hard bargain.
Scott: On the contrary, I consider it extremely generous. (edit) Daniel (to Mingo): I hate to tell you this but you're probably the worst cook in the world outside of myself. (edit) Andre (to Scott): The word of a traitor must always be suspect. (edit) Scott (to the Rangers in the tavern): Back to the post or I'll have every mother's son of you in irons. (edit) Arlen (about Mingo's accent): Does he always talk like that?
Daniel: Except when he's talkin' Indian. (edit) Daniel: Since we're in no hurry to get back to the fort, why don't we stop off at that little tavern down the road? I'll buy the drinks.
Arlen: That sounds like a sensible idea. (edit) Arlen: Any of you men wanna get court-martialed or get shot to death?
Purvis: I'd prefer that to fightin' Boone again. (edit) Scott (about the papers): I suggest you hide those in your boots. They're damning evidence.
Andre: For both of us. The handwriting happens to be yours.
Scott: A gesture of good faith on my part. (edit) Roby: I'm sorry but I'm closed for the night.
Daniel: Well this may come as a surprise to you, Mr. Roby, but you've opened up again. (edit) Mingo (about Andre): Well, at least we know where he is. Now all we have to do is figure out a way to abduct him. (edit) Scott (to Andre about Boone): I should have had him put in irons. (edit) Mingo: Daniel, this has been a rather important evening.
Daniel: I reckon so but somehow I don't find much satisfaction in it. (edit)

In this episode, Daniel and Mingo apprehend the traitorous general and his British liaison, Major John Andre, but in real life the general (Benedict Arnold) escaped and made his way to the British lines. Major Andre, however, was apprehended and hanged as a spy.
(edit)
This episode is an obvious re-working of the Benedict Arnold story right down to the use of the name of the real life British officer, John Andre, who served as the liaison between the British and Arnold. One wonders why they called the traitorous general Hugh Scott instead of Benedict Arnold.
